The Neighborhood Leadership Series I (NLS) introduces participants to a variety of skills and strategies for becoming a community leader. It is a great starting place for those who have a passion for making a difference in their community but are unsure where to start. The program includes seven weekly learning sessions and ends with a graduation celebration.

Week 2: Monday, March 18 – History of Marshall-Ridley Choice Neighborhood
Week 3: Monday, March 25 – Conflict Resolution and Consensus-Building
Week 4: Monday, April 1 – Introduction to Community Organizing
Week 5: Monday, April 8 – Local Government 101
Week 6: Monday, April 15 – How to Start a Business or Non-Profit
Week 7: Monday, April 22 – NLS Recap and Debrief
Week 8: Monday, April 29 - Graduation Ceremony
