Please join Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP), Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) and the Newport News Human Rights Commission (NNHRC) for a presentation and discussion on Fair Housing and avenues for creating more opportunity in Hampton Roads. Attendees will hear from subject experts from HOME about the upcoming Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) process, as well as general information about Fair Housing rights, practices, and regulations. The presentation will be followed by a discussion about barriers to opportunity in housing, schools, and transportation. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 18 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, 2410 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607. 

Lunch will be provided.
