The Newport News Economic Development Authority and the City of Newport News Department of Development are hosting a community discussion regarding the design of the coworking space building located at 2506 Jefferson Avenue.

Coworking spaces afford the opportunity to conduct business within professional environments without taking on the high cost of overhead. The goal is to have a balanced mix of collaborative spaces and more traditional private offices that provide opportunities for focused work and productive encounters with like-minded entrepreneurs.

The event will be held on Monday, Dec. 3, from 5- 7 p.m. at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center located at 2410 Wickham Ave. Light refreshments will be served.
